Kates ABCs Cricut cartridge & Gypsy. Had
not welded letters & an image like the BEE
together before like this.
First couple tries using Gypsy to weld the
letters resulted in some letters not welded.
Used the eye option to see the welding and
it looked ok but there were still letters not
welded. One try somehow several of the
letter cuts were hidden and I did not use the
hide option. Started over and this welding
looked ok but when I cut the letter 'i' in
'Birthday' was welded too close to my liking.
Lost track of how many tries but I did not give
up and I got it welded the way I wanted it to look.
Used gold glitter cardstock for BEE body,
crown & wings. Used one of the white cuts for
BEE eye from a trial cut using white cardstock
before cutting using black cardstock.
Added a white ribbon to the yellow 5" x 8" card
layer. Used red double-sided tape to adhere the
letters and BEE but not the BEE wings to the
card base. The red peeled part of the tape kept
sticking to my hands. Popped up the wings for
3D look. Added gold gems to the white ribbon.
Looked at the card & the 'i' was not dotted and
the piece I needed was on the mat.
Matted the 5" x 8" yellow layer on black layer
5 1/4" x 8 1/4" & then on white card base
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" for finished card.

Texture
Kates ABCs Cricut cartridge & Gypsy
Baby Girl Font 2 each letter 1.58" height
Bee 2.47" x 3.17"
all welded together 6.97" x 4.07
card size 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2"
card layers:
5" x 8" yellow
5 1/4" x 8 1/4" black
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" white
Paper:
cardstock: The Paper Company Charcoal - black,
gold glitter, DCWV the cardstock stack yellow &
the Paper Company white
adhesive: Recollections red double-sided tape,
Scotch ATG - for each layer matting,
Scotch tape - to tape the gold glitter cardstock to black from the back,
Zig 2 way glue pen
did not use the Scotch ATG for the letters or BEE
because the adhesive is too wide for this,
I wonder if Scotch has thought of designing
a Scotch ATG for narrower adhesive
