Christmas Cardinal Shaped Card

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I've wanted for some time to make a shaped
Cardinal card. At the time I made the Blue Bird
ornament I did not know there was a Cardinal
image on the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge
known as Bird1.

Using my Gypsy which I'm still learning to use I
was able to create a 5.5" shaped card creating a
duplicate image, flipping one of the images &
welding option and have the info of the x & y
coordinates to share with you in case you want to
make one. I'm always learn
ing so much from everyone
else's blog with the details that I feel good I can share
something maybe someone has not done before. My
first try did not line up properly and with a couple
adjustments I
got it correct on the 2nd try which is
awesome for me.

I cut the welded image out of white cardstock for
sturdiness & wanted the inside to be white so I could
stamp a sentiment on it. Cut the welded image out of
yellow for the beak & legs to be yellow. Cut the shifted

image out of red for the body. Cut the layer which is the
beak out of core'dinations cardstock that is black on
one side & blue on other for face/eye part.

Used red glitter on the red body. Used yellow glitter on
the beak & legs. Used Enamel accents white on the eye.
Painted the branch with brown paint.

the Christmas Tree:

Inkadinkado Holiday Expressions clear stamp

Zig 2 way glue - found that I like using this more
as opposed to adhesive tape as in ATG when trying to line up pieces
