2011 Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween Pumpkin

Hubby finished carving the 2011 pumpkin and if you
thought the 2006 version of Captain Jack Sparrow
was awesome check out this one of Captain Jack
Sparrow. Hubby used carving/engraving Dremel
tools on this one since it is mostly shading carving.
I ordered the Dremel tools online from Home Depot
since the ones in this set were not sold in store.

Entering this into the following challenges:

1. Crafting for all Seasons Ch#12 Halloween or Colour ends 10/31
Ch# 12 - Halloween or a Colour Challenge

2. Decorate to Celebrate unlimited new entries 3rd entry ends 11/1

Challenge #11 -- Halloween Party

3. Getting Cricky unlimited entries 2nd entry ends 11/5
allowed 1 other color - if you change the light you get one other color

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge!

This week it's a color challenge! Halloween is almost here...so our challenge is to use the colors orange and black! You are allowed to use one other color, so if you want to add a white ghost or green Frankenstein, or even yellow leaves...it doesn't have to be a Halloween project - as long as you use the colors orange, black and only one other color!

4. Love to Crop unlimited entries 4th entry ends 11/3
there are lots of carved circles

It's Challenge Time!! Encircled and hugged...

5. Paper Playtime

Ch# 59 - ANYTHING GOES... PAST OR PRESENT PROJECTS

6. Use it Tuesday Ch#18 Colors one or all: orange, black & purple ends 11/4
Not sure if a 3D item non-paper unless you count the pattern that was on paper placed on pumpkin to be carved can be entered but figured all I can be told is no so here goes
I used or should I say hubby used a hoarded pumpkin (I buy them on sale at Michaels when they are 50% or less and especially when I have a coupon for add'l 25% off transaction) and the pumpkin pattern was bought last yr

Challenge #18: Colors!

battery operated light
craft pumpkin
Dremel carving/engraving tools
Pumpkin Masters carving tools
push pins - to trace pattern onto pumpkin

  5. This turned out great! Wow! I keep scrolling up to check it out! That is really remarkable. My husband really likes this too! (I'm trying to sway him into attempting something like this, but maybe something much easier). I have a feeling this pumpkin has the brightest light you could find in it!

Thanks for the comment on my haunted house card. That must have been pretty scary for your friend. But I bet she is a believer! All it takes is one time to make a person believe!
