Created this Easter card making a homemade stencil template to give it a field of Tulips look. Used Lawn Fawn Tulip die and cut out 10 Tulips out of recycled cereal box cardboard. Yes, I cranked the die & cardboard thru my Sizzix BIGkick 10 times. Pounced inks onto green cardstcok using daubers for the Tulips. Distressed the edges using Tim Holtz: paper distresser & Distress Inks. Stamped LF sentiment & cut out with a Spellbinder die.
Had Tulips many years ago but after they bloomed once they never rebloomed. Photographed in my backyard where my BlueBonnets are greening up & will bloom end of Mar or beginning of Apr. Planted these BlueBonnets yrs ago and each yr they rebloom. They reseed on their own and I burst the seeds and plant more also as well as give seeds to neighbors to plant.
