Bought the Cricut Explore Air at Michaels Sun 3/15. Came with bundle of Lia Griffith projects, extra mat & 1 mth free subscription to online image library. With the help of Joy Tracey of Obsessed with Scrapbooking video & a guy named Ken's video I was able to get it connected or in Air terms 'paired' with my computer. If anyone is needing help please let me know and I'll see if I can help.
Like the fact that you do not have to mess with blade setting, speed or pressure. You select the material you are using and the settings are taken care of. The pen is easy to insert. It came with blade already in. I need to sync up my Gypsy w/ Design Space since I have loaded some new Cricut cartridges since last sync. Design Space indicates # of cartridges you have purchased that you have linked up with Gypsy/CraftRoom/Cricut Explore Air/Design Space.
It came with some cardstock & other materials as well as a silver pen. Made the sample Hello Telephone Card shown below.
Stamped Hero Arts sentiment & Bee for inside. Used a Simon Says Stamp words bubble die to cut out sentiment. Used Wink of Stella silver pen for faux stitching of words bubble. Heat embossed clear embossing powder on Bee. Used HA Bee die. Used Gellyroll white & Wink of Stella clear on Bee.
