Cowardly Lion Honey is Off to see the Wizard Birthday Card

Created this sassy & sexy birthday card with a Sassy Studio digi, Cowardly Lion Honey.  She is off to see the Wizard of OZ.

Used several mediums to color the digi and add detail. Used colored pencils, glitter, markers, paints & even a Marvy Snow Marker. Used paint and Marvy Snow Marker on the sassy boots & fur of tail & some on outfit for fur texture. Used glitter on the outfit for sparkle. Used paint for an earring.

Had a bit of a mishap with the glitter. Since I did not have orange glitter I used red & yellow to make orange. Well, when I squeezes the red glitter container the tip popped off and alot of the glitter poofed out. Thank goodness I was using a lid to mix the glitter in or it would have been all over other stuff. When the tip popped off it made a loud noise that even startled my dog. Was able to scoop up the glitter I was not mixing back into the container & put the tip back on.

Used a Tim Holtz brick embossing folder. Distressed the embossed layer with TH sander & TH Distress Inks. Recycled a Kleenex box that had floral decor on it. Added a ribbon bow to digi hair. Used 2 different stamp sets for the sentiment. Used a Stampin' Up punch for sentiment tag.
