St. Patrick's Day Charms

Created these St. Patrick's Day Charms that can be party favors.

Created these St. Patrick's Day Charms by altering cardboard from a cereal box & Sizzix Shamrock die. Hubby liked the Oats, Raisin & Honey Granola cereal. I'm more of a Cheerios (regular kind) or Chex (Corn or Rice) or Corn Flakes or Kix sort of cereal liking gal.

A group that I meet with each month create a project, the owner of the store does a demonstration for us to make a tag and we do swaps. Hostess gets to choose the swap theme which this month is Charms; must have a jump ring.

Closeup:

Made base by altering cardboard from a cereal box.
Punched using Stampin' Up 2 1/2" circle punch.

altered item: cardboard from a cereal box
die: Sizzix Shamrock - my old item - before I had any fancy cutting machines I had
a Sizzix Original die cutting machine and the original was the kind you had to press
down on to cut the image out & I have the dies in tower cases that Michaels use to sell
eyelets: Craft Essentials 1/8" green
ink: Memento Cottage Ivy
jump rings: gold color bought at JoAnns awhile ago on clearance
machine: Sizzix BIGkick
paper: cardboard from cereal box covered with white cardstock base,
cardstock - green glitter, core'dinations Shamrock green, white
ribbon: Spool O' Ribbon
stamp: studio g
Stampin' Up: punches - 2 1/2" circle, Modern Label, Word Window
Tim Holtz: Distress Ink mowed lawn
tools: Crop-A-Dile - wonderful tool that cuts thru thickness of cardboard & paper for eyelet & used to set the eyelet
