Created this Postcard Card using Tim Holtz Postcard embossing folder among other things. Distressed the embossed layer edges & added distress ink. Cut sentiment tag with Spellbinder using off-white cardstock. Added distress ink to edges of sentiment tag. Stamped sentiment on Kraft cardstock, cut out with same Spellbinder die as sentiment tag and then cut out with scissors so I would have a center portion of Kraft to place on top of the off-white sentiment tag. used metal brads to hold the sentiment tag to the Kraft layer of the card.
Photographed the card with a few postcards I've saved: on far left & center are from my Dad and the Sunshine Bridge postcard is from an Internet friend that lives near the bridge.

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE pressure embossing, and I often forget to use this technique when I should. I have several plates, and wish I could remember to implement them into my art more than I do. Thanks fot sharing this with us, Melissa. Your art is always a welcome addition to our challenges, and I am VERY grateful for your participation in our weekly challenges. God bless you as you create and share!
