HA Christmas Cactus Card

Used a Hero Arts cactus stamp/die set to make this Christmas Card. Used Tim Holtz sander on the carstock before stamping or cutting. After stamping & cutting I used TH Stickles for the sparkle lights and a Wink of Stella gold pen for the gold ends on the lights (the gold does not show up much on the green cardstock). Recycled some cotton from a cotton ball for the Santa's hat. Used Martha Stewart fringe scissors to give the scrapbook paper a fringed rug look.

  2. Oh what a laugh I got from this one. I live in the desert of Arizona where cactus actually do get 'dressed up' with lights, etc. by homeowners at Christmas time! I've even seen a Santa hat on the top of one saguaro! Cute card, and I like cards that make people smile. This one is tops for that!! Thanks for joining us at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' for our Warm Winter Clothing challenge! Hugs, Gail
