Created this Easel style card being in an artsy mood with a Daisies theme for a friend that was due a card in the mail to cheer her up/encourage her.
Cut yellow cardstock for Easel card base 4 1/4" x 11", scored in middle at 5 1/2" and scored one more time at 2 3/4".
Used Simon Says Stamp Rectangle die to cut white cardstock giving it a stitched look. Stamped Stampendous Daisies on white cardstock using Ranger black ink. Masked the flowers and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink & markers for background. Colored the Daisies with TH marker, paint & Stampin' Up marker. Used a Wink of Stella clear pen on the Daisies centers. Stamped My Craft Spot 'Friend' word & sentiment. Used Kraft cardstock for base/mat. Attached the Kraft cardstock with Daisies onto the yellow cardstock. Embossed a strip of white cardstock with a Daisies embossing border. Attached the white embossed strip on yellow cardstock. Used TH marker on centers of embossed Daisies. Used Wink of Stella clear pen on the embossed Daises centers.
Daisy posing next to the Daisies & Lilies hubby planted in our backyard. Hubby also transplanted strawberries (to the right) we have been growing for 5+ years.
