Kraft Valentine PostCard

Created this Valentine Post Card for my hubby using Kraft Post Card for base. Stamped Hero Arts Hearts on left side. Stamped Recollections postage stamp on white cardstock. Stamped HA additional letter 'E' for 'BEE MINE' wording. Fussy cut postage stamp out. Placed postage stamp on post card. Stamped Recollections postmark w/ cancellation. Personalized the post card using calligraphy.

Made this Clean & Simple CAS Kraft Valentine Post Card in under 15 mins.

Discovered that some stamps do not stamp entirely with some ink. I was using Memento LadyBug to stamp the HA Hearts and I learned to always test the stamp on scrap paper before stamping on project paper. Well, I stamped the first heart that has the chevron pattern and the center of the stamp ink did not show up on and was still on the stamp. Stamped the heart w/ word 'Love' and same thing happened such that the center of the heart did not show up. Switched to Simon Says Stamp Hot Lips ink and both stamps stamped complete. Has this happened to anyone else before and why does this happen?

  2. Love red ink on kraft. And stamping on a scrap paper first is always a good idea... Ask me how I know :P
