You're Swell SeaHorse Shaker Tag

Doodle Pantry Challenge for July is Make a Splash or Christmas Theme. Click here to enter challenge. Click here to see my Partridge in a Pear Tree Scrapbook Layout.

Made this Shaker Tag with an Under the Sea theme. First time making a shaker creation. Used vellum and next time I think I'll use plastic which you can see thru better. The pretty blue & gold glass beads & white pearl beads inside are more noticeable in person than in the photo. Used Paper Smooches stamps. Added sparkly tie to the tag.

Supplies List

adhesive: foam - for shaker part
beads: glass - blue, gold   white pearl
ink: Delicata Golden Glitz
paper: vellum - blue, clear  cardstock - white
stamp:  Paper Smooches Surf & Turf - sentiment, SeaHorse
Tim Holtz: die - Tag

  1. Yes, I think you're right...acetate will help to see your pretty image better. Cute idea, though.

  2. Cute idea , perhaps you could use different ink underneath or more clear plastic for a greater effect.

  3. Gorgeous card Melissa :-) I love the vellum shaker, it might not be very visible with vellum but it is still fabulous and am sure it looks even more FAB in real life :_)

  4. I made a 2nd shaker card using plastic this time & I like it even better so at least I was not discouraged by making the 1st and using vellum. I'll post the 2nd one soon.
