Made this Tag with a Under the Sea/Summer Theme and a lot of work effort using mostly Tim Holtz items. For more details on how the Tag is made on Tim Holtz's site click here. I did change up a few things which I'll note here:
1. Used a Cuttlebug embossing folder Spots & Dots instead of the TH Bubbles embossing folder.
2. Do not have the clear stuff to make the sand so I used baking soda & my daughter said it needed more white so I also used white glitter along with embossing powder
3. Do not have the TH die to make the SeaWeed so I used a Spellbinder die.
4. Do not have the sentiment tag so I made a sentiment tag of my own.
5. Do not have the paint tool.
6. Added jute to Tag

ReplyDeleteWow! I think you did great. I like the idea of making do with what you have, your tag is beautiful and you didn't have to run to the store to get new things to make it!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Melissa!! The sea horse looks amazing!! I love that you used what you had to make the tag!! I didn't have the larger sea horse die but on a trip to my local Joann, I found it on clearance for $5.97...I was so excited!! They had two tags, so I took one up to the counter to pay and they couldn't find the die. The manager went to the back and they didn't have any in stock. Sooo frustrated...I thought I had scored a great deal. So I had to make do with the smaller one. Have a great day :)
