Summer Lovin' Watermelon Patriotic Card

Created this Summer card using Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge for the Watermelon. I like Summer Fruit Watermelon. Use to eat Watermelon with salt when younger; not sure why, just did. Now I do not add salt.

Used a sketch you can see below.

Used a Basic Grey Summer Lovin' stamped with 2 ink colors. Had to redo it 3 times. First try I tried using markers and did not like the look so switched to using 2 ink pads. Touched the 2 ink pads to the words and wiped off any extra or wrong ink and after 2 tries I got it to look like I wanted.

Used a Patriotic color theme. Used a doily as a tablelcloth. Used Kraft americana cardstock. Has polka dots. Added the watermelon ribbon. Added some bling red gem star & blue gem star. Did not have a white star gem so I used a white star and added stickles to make it sparkle. Added Patriotic ribbon to top.
