Made this Christmas card using a wonderful tutorial posted by Tammylee at Speedy TV Mark's Finest Papers Tutorial Time Ch20 using a technique called Embossing On Pop Cans. (click on the name of the name for the tutorial).
I used Mark's Finest Papers Christmas Cardinals stamps and an Arizona Tea Can. My hubby is going to now wonder why I'm not putting the cans in the recycle bin after he drinks the tea. Heehee. Stamped the Cardinal onto the can using VersaMark & Blaze embossing powder. Cut out using a Spellbinder oval die. Mounted on a layer of green core'dinations cardstock and attached to Kraft cardstock on inside of card to peek thru the opening which is the negative Spellbinder die cut used for front of card.
View of front of card
with Cardinal peeking thru from inside:
Inside of card:
embossing: Recollections Sparkle Blaze embossing powder, Versamark, Marvy heat tool
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper: Kraft cardstock, core'dinations green cardstock
Spellbinder: Nest Classic Scalloped Ovals Large
stamp: MFP Christmas Cardinals
