Groundhog Bday Card

Made this birthday card for my hubby whose birthday is on Groundhog's Day. I stamped a sentiment "Wishing you Sun-shiny days!" on the Sun with vellum over it and attached with heart paperclip. Reason for the vellum is to give appearance of not so sunny so the Groundhog does not see its shadow and we get more wks of Winter. If we get more wks of Winter I always say you can blame it on my hubby.

Just heard that the Groundhog did not see his shadow so there will bee an early Spring. Yeah!

Stamped birthday sentiment on grass cardstock. Liked the double stamping mistake. Added some birthday balloon paper to inside that I used a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die on.

One of the good things about the Cricut Online Design Space is that when you select to insert an image you get the entire image so you do not have to remember to get all the pieces to make it with; it puts the entire image onto your screen. This is very helpful especially with the detail design of the Disney images like this Groundhog.
