Scarecrow #3 Crochet Thanksgiving Decor

When Halloween is over & Dia de los Muertos has passed I decorate for Thanksgiving which seems to be the forgotten holiday sometimes. I say forgotten because our town has already started decorating outside for Christmas. I turn the styrofoam orange pumpkins around so you do not see the carved images and use them as Thanksgiving decor. I then decorate with scarecrow theme.

Here is one of the scarecrow decorations I made. The base is a plastic container I recycled and covered with crocheted Autumn ombre yarn. Decorated with Thanksgiving picks: acorn, pumpkin & scarecrow. Added buttons to scarecrow. Used Tim Holtz leaf die. Stamped Inky Antics sentiment on leaf. Added raffia.
