Started my Thanksgiving baking/cooking early. Made Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake: top layer is pumpkin, middle layer is chocolate (Nestle chocolate chip pieces), bottom layer is cheesecake (all this on a graham cracker crust). I make this every yr at request of my daughter who does not like plain pumpkin pie but likes this combo; especially since it has chocolate & is a cheesecake. First time made Pumpkin Deviled Eggs. Used a recipe from Kroger grocery store. The eggs are very good and I'll be making more this way.
The foil around the edges really helps preventing the crust from burning. I also place it on a cookie sheet in the oven instead of putting it directly on the oven rack.
Used a toothpick like it indicated to make the lines for the pumpkins and green onion pieces for pumpkin stems. I did not add chipolte as indicated and instead added pumpkin spice. I have had the Tupperware piece that holds the eggs for many years and it gets a lot of use throughout the yr.
Made this card using Simon Says Stamp Stitched dies: used 2 Oval to surround the sentiment & 2 Circle negative pieces (used pieces from another project). Also used the scrapbook pattern piece that the SSS Ovals & Circles were cut from as pattern layer piece on card. No wasting here.
