Choc Strawberry Card

Click here to enter Doodle Pantry Aug Digital Challenge 49.
Click here to see Flyin Hi DP DT Card.

Created this card with a Strawberry theme. Stamped Taylored Expressions strawberry couple times for paper piecing. Used Crayola products for the marker (chocolate drip off the strawberry) & pencil colors (stem & leaves). Used paint for the chocolate. Added glossy accents.

Photographed the card near our strawberries we grow. Hubby did a wonderful job of transplanting the strawberry plants we have had growing for 5+ years. Hubby built a raised bed for the strawberries. Hubby put in drip irrigation for the strawberries and all the other plants we have growing in & around our greenhouse in backyard. You can see a strawberry that is just below the card.

  5. Hey Melissa!! I thought for a second that you added a real strawberry to your card. OMG, it looks so good and eatable. I love it. Dipped in chocolate, wonderful. I love your strawberry patch. I used to grow strawberries with my grandmother when I was a kid. The taste was amazing. I really wish I had the capacity to do that now with my kids. I have to fine a way. You bought back memories. Wonderful done. Thank you so much for joining us over at the DoubleClick Skittles Challenge.

  7. This is so cool. The background is perfect. Makes the card look so real. Like the strawberry from your garden is actually real. Honestly, your strawberry looks better than the one growing underneath it!!! Thank you so much for joining us over at the DoubleClick Skittles Challenge.
