Elephant Father's Day Card

Created this Father's Day card using BugABoo digi, Elephant. Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Added enamel accents on Elephant. Used a sketch which you can see below. Stamped Stampin' Up sentiment. Fussy cut out sentiment tag with scissors. Debossed (used opposite of embossing folder) the sentiment tag. Used Elephant pattern paper to complement the Elephant theme & since there was a baby Elephant with the adult it also complements the Father's Day theme. Used Kraft cardstock for base. Added ribbon.

  1. what a fab fathers day card ...I love elephants ...
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a fab comment on my fathers day choc bar cover ..I didn't have a pattern or template for it ,I kind of made it up as I went along ..It was very easy to do ..just wrap the chosen choc bar with the paper /card you want so it will wrap right around this will become the shirt. then over the top of the shirt wrap your chosen paper which will become the jacket... where the two edges meet at the front fold the corners over to resemble lapels and cut a notch in each one so the lapels look more realistic.....to make the the collar I cut a rectangle of card and taking each eand folded it down to make a collar shape which I glued in place adding a tie ...I hope this is helpful for you have a great weekend
