Happy Memorial Day weekend. My father served in WWII. He was in the Army. He died in Nov 2006 & was buried on Veteran's Day and that was my first experience at hearing Taps played live.

Created this Love Card using Lawn Fawn You've Got Mail stamp. This Card has a Travel theme with the "Airmail" banner, "sending love your way" sentiment & postage stamps background. Fussy cut out the Lawn Fawn stamped mailbox, letter & "Airmail" banner. Used Kraft cardstock to resemble a US Flag. Used Tim Holtz Distress items.

Supplies List

ink: Memento Lady Bug, Versafine Onyx Black
paper:  scrap piece of the Paper Studio Vintage Postage stamps scrapbook,
   cardstock - Kraft, blue, white
stamp:  Lawn Fawn You've Got Mail
Tim Holtz: Distress Ink - walnut stain, paper distresser
