Was inspired by Frenchie of Stamp & Scrap w/ Frenchie to create this Graduation card. Used the Martha Stewart scissors which I found & bought at Hobby Lobby. Gave card to my daughter who graduated from Kansas City Art Institute 5/17 with double major in Art Animation & Art History. The brown color tassel is for Bachelor in Fine Arts. The chord is to denote double major. They were allowed to decorate their caps & gowns. Makes sense since it is an Art school. The silk feathers did not stay on thru the ceremony. She has a Hedgehog ornament I gave her on her gown zipper pull. She has a Bird on her cap.
Here's a link to my daughter's senior animation.

Awesome card, Melissa! Congrats to your daughter! Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card! I love the fold of this card and I am busy with one right now, but not succeeding very well. I think there is something wrong with the measurements of the tutorial I'm following. Thank you for posting the link Frenchie's tutorial - I may figure out what I'm doing wrong going there :-) I love the graduation paper you used - so elegant!
