Created this recipe layout using a Roasted Cinnamon Pear recipe that I tried out this past week and like a lot. Recipe was in People magazine. Friend shares her copies of People magazine with me. Very easy to make the recipe.
I've been making a recipe book for my Daughter for awhile so I'll add this one to it.
The recipe puts me an Autumn frame of mind with the smell of Cinnamon & the taste. I use non-stick aluminum foil in my baking pan to make cleanup easier. Recipe indicated 35 mins but I found that on 2nd time I made it 45 mins was a better roasting time.
For sentiment I cut a clear stamp from Joy's Life Yummy Puns. I cut off the words 'We are' from words 'a great pear' and then used 2 stamps from Fiskars Recipe Madness 'Desserts AND SWEETS' 'FAMILY RECIPE.'
Calligraphy wrote the recipe on vellum paper. Added buttons & twine for bling.
Used a Pear digi from PaperCrafting World and with proper placement put it on scrpabook paper near the word 'CINNAMON' near it. Used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Stickles to give it a Cinnamon look for bling.
Added photo I took after Roasted Cinnamon Pear was out of oven.
