Created this Oriental Pocket Book at Dallas Stampers
gathering Mon evng 8/6/12. The book with 4 pockets (1 on front, 2 inside & 1 on back) measures 2 3/4" x 4". First time for me making one of these.
Cardstock to make this measures 11" x 8 1/4". Cardstock is scored on long side at: 1/2", 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" and 10 1/2". Score short side at 3/4" & 4 3/4". With long side at top & bottom and short side at left & right fold in the scorings at: 1/2" & 10 1/2". Fold 2 left corners to meet the 2 3/4" score line. Fold 2 right corners to meet the 8 1/4" score line. Fold in left & right side towards the 5 1/2" score but not meet it. With the 3/4" score line at top fold at the 5 1/2" score line. Turn paper over and fold down the 3/4" score and tuck into each side.I'll provide photos of step by step instructions soon. I made the tucked side my back & front but you can make it your inside also if you prefer.
We
were provided with the tag base, papers, ribbons/fibers, beads, etc.
for
embellishing. I brought black ink, Oriental stamps (Inkadinkado - Asian Characters & Asian Influences), paper trimmer &
adhesive.
You can see Panda tag here, Lucky Cat tag here & Fans tag here.
