Birthday Card - The Greetery CrimpedFrames - CTMH WinterPenguins

Made this Birthday card for my CTMH upline. Used a new die, Crimped Frame, from The Greetery. Used CTMH: cardstock , Celebrate embossing folder, Swirly Birthday stamp, Winter Penguins stamp/die. Used a sander on the embossing.

Supplies

CTMH: cardstock/paper - white, purples

embossing - Celebrate emb folder

ink - Intense Black

pattern - #X9013 Mix-in diagonal stripes, dotted zip strip

Shimmer Pen - Clear (on the gift pkg Penguin is holding)

stamp - Swirly Happy Birthday

Tip Thurs 1/21 - Shimmer Pens - HeroArts Jan2021Kit+ - Valentine - Bees

Welcome to Tip Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant/Maker, and I want to share some tips I have learned in a weekly tutorial named Tip on Thursday.

Today, I want to show you how Shimmer Pens can add sparkle/shine.

Used CTMH Shimmer Pens (Clear & Lemonade). When you order CTMH Shimmer Pens they come in a plastic bag. The top of the pen has a color and to id the pen you can get creative or simply use a black Sharpie pen to write the color name on the white body of the pen. When using the pen for the first time you will need to squeeze the pen where indicated on body and use a plastic lid or some such to allow the ink to start flow and not make a mess. You can see below after coloring Bee with markers and using Shimmer pens as well as using Shimmer pens alone.

I used Hero Arts Jan Kit (Bees & sentiment) as well as the Get Them All Jan 2021: background stamp & hexagon dies.

Sympathy Card - CTMH CardChatterSympathy StitchedLatticeBg

Made this Sympathy card for an internet friend whose mom died recently. Friend likes Kraft cardstock. Stamped a CTMH sentiment and die cut fitting it end to end in the stitched die. Used a CMTH die for layered background. Added a flower & gem in center of flower. Used glossy accents on flower petals.
