Saw Jupiter & Saturn Mon evng. With binoculars saw the 1/10% separation between the 2 planets. Was amazing.

Wrapped some Christmas presents and need more tags.

My hubby gave me an early Christmas present, a miroco Milk Frother, he bought on amazon. It warms up milk/cream, froths to make a latte, mixes & warms up hot chocolate by adding powder with milk and does cold frothing for frappes (not tried this option yet). I broke/cracked 2 lids on the Keurig frother which is part of our Keurig coffee maker. Stores sell replacements of the metal container with lid and online you can get the lid replacements but they are expensive either way and the lids are so fragile. The lid I currently have does work. I like the new frother for the way it stirs/mixes the hot chocolate with the milk and the temperature. I like the frother for the way it froths to make lattes.

 

Used Simon doodlebug stamp/die to make this Christmas Tag. Colored. I could not resist adding a Santa cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows (that is part of the stamp/die set) to this tag.

Used Hero Arts Oct Mth Kit. Took some time with all the prep/steps for this. Used Diamond Glitter Glue (not easily seen but pretty in person), heat tool and further time allowed to dry. Cut heart out of ornament. Inked the birds. Added string. Heat embossed the sentiment. Added gems on birds. Inked the edges of the red cardstock.

Used Hero Arts Oct 2020 Mth Kit. Thank goodness for the MISTI. I first used a block for the small repeated pattern and messed up after 3 repeats. With MISTI I was able to position, move cardstock along and stamp and for bottom repeating I flipped card and continued across.

Tip Thursday 12/17 - Merry Christmas

 Welcome to Tip Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant, and I want to share some tips I have learned in a weekly tutorial named Tip on Thursday.

Will continue with Tip Thursday in Dec except for Christmas Eve 12/24 (this is when I wrap presents for family) & New Year's Eve 12/31 (no I do not go out & party not even in non-Covid years, instead stay at home relax, watch tv and usually fall asleep before the ball drops in Times Square) and so 12/17 will be last for this yr.

Today, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. Thankful for health of my family (husband, daughter, dogs & I). Sharing photos of my dogs from when they went to Camp Bow Wow which is a wonderful indoor day camp for dogs. LOL at the holiday headwear mixup. Daisy Rey was suppose to wear the earmuffs & Holly Blossom was to wear the Lumber Jack/Jill hat since it was smaller and her ears fir thru the slits. Made this Christmas Card with a window scene & reindeer.

Stamped, colored & die cut reindeer image. Used a collection of dies & trimming to make it into a window. Used an embossing folder on the window to give it a wooden look.
