Made this Christmas Tag using Lawn Fawn Den Sweet Den stamp/die.  I'm gifting a book, Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, to my great niece. Already wrapped it so photographed the tag with 2 books on my reading list: Andrew Cartmel Vinyl Detective Low Action (a paperback series about a man that is a detective of finding vinyl records, daughter gave me the book for my birthday, currently reading) and John Grisham A Time For Mercy, hubby gave me for Anniversary present).

11/19 Tip Thursday - CTMH Layered Floral Background

 Welcome to Tip Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant, and I want to share some tips I have learned in a weekly tutorial named Tip on Thursday.

I want to show off the CTMH Layered Floral Background dies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are 3 dies that measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/5.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Using CTMH cardstock which one side has a lighter side than the other you can make for a nice blended look of stacking the Layered Floral Background. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next Thursday 11/26 is Thanksgiving so there will not be a Tip on Thursday post and I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Slimline Card

Made this Thanksgiving card using my Cricut Explore Air and Simon dies. When I started out making this card I was cutting Kraft cardstock and when I went to score & crease I noticed the cardstock was not straight. I thought I cut it incorreclty so proceeded to cut another pieces, same thing happened. Turns out the Kraft cardstock is not cut even on the 8 1/2" side. Have only used a few sheets out of packet from Hobby Lobby so wondering if they will allow me to exchange for a new pack (I do not have receipt)? Has this happened to anyone else?
