Welcome to Tip Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant/Maker, and I want to share some tips I have learned in a weekly tutorial named Tip on Thursday.

Today, is 2nd part of the CTMH Sending Love Postage stamp. If you missed part 1 then you can click here.
2nd part will cover a tip on stamping using negative cut.
1. Using white cardstock this shows the use of the negative for stamping better. Place negative inside MISTI.
2. Lay the stamp face down inside the negative area.
3. Lift the lid and the stamp will be ready to be inked.
4. Ink the stamp. Place the cut out postqage stamp shape inside the negative (pink). You can repeat inking if not all areas have enough ink which is one of the wonderful things about the MISTI since the position keeps in place.
5. Close the lid to ink. Repeat inking & stamping until you have inked to your satisfaction.
6. The stamping is done.

Cricut:
cartridge - CTMH Art Philosophy
machine - Cricut Explore Air 2
CTMH:
cardstock/paper - color of your choice (I used pink 3" x 12"),
also used white for negative cut
ink: Candy Apple
stamp - Sending Love Postage #M1286
tools: MISTI (for stamping, you can use a stamping block also)

Now if you have completed reading Part 1 & 2 I have a challenge for you and the prize will be a CTMH Sending Love Postage stamp (I bought an extra to giveaway). US Addresses only due to postage reasons. The challenge is to create a shape background of your choice using your Cricut and stamp it. You will need to indicate type of Cricut used, indicate image (can be a SVG) & size of image for background used, indicate stamp (not digital) used, brand of stamp & size of stamp.
