Gears Tag

Used a Tim Holtz embossing folder that I bought couple weeks ago.

My hours at my job as cashier at Home Depot has kept me busy with 27+ hours per week. I told the HD Human Resources person that I was feeling burnt out over the many & long hours and I would prefer to cut back to 20 hrs. Remarkably to my surprise the HR person approved the reduction in hrs and so starting Mon 6/4 I'll be working <= 20 hrs. Also, HD is starting a cross-training program. I asked if we got to choose where we were to be cross-trained and HR person asked me where I would prefer. I thought about it and decided I would like to learn the Appliances (refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, etc.) area. Wk of Jun 11 I'll start training for the Appliances area. I'll have more time to do the things I enjoy again; spending time with my family and crafting.

Daisy has been going thru some issues. First we were trying to introduce her to some new food but she has chicken allergies. She threw up the new food. We discontinued the new food and went back to Natural Balance Bison & Sweet Potato and Fish & Sweet Potato. Vet prescribed some antibiotics and she recovered. Then a redness & swelling near her left eyebrow. Got a cone for her to wear. Vet did not know what caused it. Vet put eye drops in eyes even though her eyes were fine and the eyebrow area was only affected. Vet prescribed some meds. After 2 weeks the redness & swelling was not healing so back again to the vet. Vet gave her a steroid injection & a higher dose of the meds. In one day the redness & swelling was decreasing. We are continuing the meds & wearing of the cone for 1 wk. I'm sure glad my Daisy is getting better. Daisy will be 11 this yr in Aug.

  4. Thats great about your job. Sorry to hear about Daisy one of our dogs has an insane amount of allergies and its take many years to get him on a good that actually agrees with him, his skin and tummy. Not sure if you can get it in the states but Happy Dog is what he is on and its been brilliant.
