Valentine Box Card

Last wk I applied to a local plant nursery, Calloway's, for part-time seasonal job. Store mgr phoned me yesterday to schedule interview. Had interview yesterday,Thurs morn. Got the job. Store mgr will phone me with schedule next wk to start either end of Feb or beginning of Mar (all depends on the weather since it is still Winter here in Central TX, this morn was cold sweater/jacket weather and by noon was short sleeve weather). They provide a blue shirt for me to wear with jeans & black shoes (I have black Nikes). Looking forward to job. Has been awhile since I worked at Hallmark and I miss part-time work interacting with other people & customers. Will continue to take care of & walk dogs as schedule allows me. I'll squeeze time in for crafting.

Made this Valentine Box Card using a Design Space file that Debbie O'Neal wonderfully created/provided (click on her name to go to her youtube channel to get link/info) for box card base. Thank you Debbie O'Neal. Used Valentine images I own for elements inside the box. Recycled plastic from a pkg for the stems to attach the elements inside the box. Added a gem heart for sparkle.

  4. Congratulations on your job. It sounds like a fun place to work. I am not sure a nursery would hire me, as I tend to kill plants. I love this very cute valentine box with the pretty papers and images. Thanks for joining us at BBTB2.
