Solar Eclipse 4/8/24 - Newtons Nook

Solar Eclipse here in N TX was awesome, started out cloudy, even though the dark time was approx 2 mins to 2 1/2 mins and not 4 mins+.

Made this to use with my scrapbooking of the Solar Eclipse photos that my hubby & I took using phone camera with & without telescope. Paper pieced the cat to resemble my daughter's black cat "Bee." Colored the telescope to resemble the one I bought that was a CBS special deal couple wks ago $49.99 that included a Solar Filter, tripod, case & some other extras.

ink: Tuxedo Black, VersaMark

Lawn Fawn: cardstock/paper - Into the Woods Remix

   (clouds with dotted pattern)
