Birthday present from my Daughter & Giveaway

Created this scrapbook layout using birthday present
that my very talented Daughter sent me. She created
the sketch using her Bamboo Tablet (Christmas present
from couple yrs ago) and her Adobe Photoshop for
Teachers & Students software (that she needed for her
Art Animation studies in college). I'll embellish the layout
more but if I did so now you would know who the sketch
is of without guessing.

Having a Giveaway to first person who can guess who
the sketch is of. There are clues in this post like the
cartridge used and the papers used (both in color &
pattern). Giveaway is a copy of the sketch. Will
announce winner Mon 10/17.

Beach Scrapbook Layout

Created this Beach scrapbook layout using my
daughter's sketch of my younger sister and her
husband as a gift to them. I liked the paper with
the BEACH word & scenery. After I made it I did
not have anymore of the paper & looked all over
for more and recently found some more at JoAnn's.
My daughter used a photo that my younger sister
had emailed as her basis for the sketch. Used a
Sizzix die cut for the wood posts and added twine
for 3D look.

2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #45

Hello hello!

Welcome to this weeks challenge here at the Christmas Card Challenge blog. We really had quite a nice turnout for last weeks Tags challenge. You all are really inspiring! Thanks again to all who joined us. We really do appreciate your participation. Since last week was the first challenge of the month, we have a random winner this week.

Congratulations #8 - Melissa!

Please send me an email (onecraftychica@gmail.com) with your address so that we can get your stamp out to you.

Now, onto this weeks challenge, which is a photo inspiration challenge. Please see below. Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. Any Christmas/Winter/Holiday card will do. The idea is to help get your Christmas card stash started. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp, but we sure love it when you do!

Here is a better view of the photo for you.

Create A Critter Owl with Tattered Background

Created this Create a Critter Owl card
using Gypsy to lay out all the pieces on

of tree branch but did not matter since the
leaf layer covers it up.

background a tattered look by tearing with my
hand.
